Jackie's REALITY POLICIES or "life is too, too short!"

I have been blessed to have a heritage of strong women in my life.  They are my guiding North Star when I have to stop and figure out what way to twist & turn. I ask myself, "What would they do?"

I was always taught the importance of "respecting the dignity of others" , which I believe is truly lacking in today’s society.  I also believe this lack of respect is at the heart of many of our problems in society!  I am committed to respecting the dignity of my guests and expect them to do likewise. "LIFE IS TOO, TOO SHORT!"     

• Antique Week ~ One night deposit to reserve reservation which is non-refundable. The balance must be paid in full one month prior to the reservation. Once this is paid, it is non-refundable.
• We have a ~ two-night minimum ~ stay on the weekends. We stay too busy and there is too much to enjoy not staying two nights. We may choose the week before a weekend to offer one night stays, so you can ask, but...
• Rates are for weekday/weekend double occupancy ~ and do not include tax. These rates are subject to change, not like the Texas weather though! Please ask about our weekly and corporate rates. 
• Retreats ~ A $200.00 deposit will reserve your weekend and is non-refundable. The balance must be paid in full one month prior to the event.
• Children ~ We love to host children! We find that they are better behaved than some adults and offer a colorful conversation.
• Pets ~ Please ~ Really.... No pets! Not a small 100lb. dog, not a fish, not a salamander, not even a frog... Nothing that slithers, wiggles, breathes, has feathers, fur, scales, or even remotely is referred to as a part of the family.... Really!
• A deposit is required to confirm all reservations and may be made by check or credit
  card. The amount of the deposit is equivalent to one night's stay and must be received
  within seven days of making the reservation. Balance is due upon arrival. You must cancel fourteen-days prior to your arrival date for a deposit refund. All cancellations are subject to a $20.00 fee. 

• Methods of payment ~  Check, Visa, MasterCard, Cash
• Checkin ~ is after 4 PM and check out is 12 Noon or before
• We are a ~ non-smoking ~ environment
